Travelling by trains to the Alps by train is becoming more and more popular, despite the lengthier time travelling the advantages are appealing. Should you take an overnight train.

The train departs London Waterloo on the Friday night, travelling through the Channel Tunnel to Paris Gare Du Nord, here you change for an overnight train to the Alps. On the return journey, you return on Saturday evening arriving back in the UK on the Sunday morning.

On arrival it is quite likely that your accomodation will not be ready , however there will be places to leave your baggage and you can
then hit the slopes .
