Possibly New Zealand?s most famous resort hosts many international events and teams. Excellent skiing is available for all levels. The unfortunate nickname Mount SHutt is not really justified. The resort say: With one of the longest seasons in New Zealand and less than two weeks in total of closed days it still provides a longer season than many other commercial ski areas in New Zealand. 105km from Christchurch it is a regular with skiers and boarders from the city.
